Granada’s Epiphany Holiday Parade

In another moment of pure serendipity, my mother and I happened to fly into Spain on the holiday Epiphany, also known as the three Wise Men’s feast. The due course of celebration for this is a massive parade, which incorporates fireworks, costuming, and copious amounts of candy throwing at the crowds. The energy here was amazing, and definitely not done justice in the photos and videos I took! The streets were absolutely packed, and everyone seemed like they were having a great time. I don’t know if I’d suggest making a trip out to Spain just to see the festivities, but I’m happy that I happened to be here to experience it all the same.
